So, EA have finally put the rumours to bed and confirmed that NBA Jam is in fact coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. But there's a catch.

In order to get your hands on the game for both the Sony and Microsoft consoles, then you'll have to unleash another £40/£60 on a copy of NBA Elite 11, rather than have the ability to just purchase it on individually like Wii owners.

Oh and another thing: it isn't the full game, just three modes.

“NBA ELITE 11 is going to change the way basketball videogames are played,” says Jordan Edelstein, Vice President of Marketing at EA Sports, “The addition of three free downloadable modes of the award winning NBA JAM is an unprecedented value add to a product that is already set to revolutionize the basketball videogame category”

So, there you go. A little bit of a let-down by EA, if you ask us. Hopefully they'll see sense sometime after the game is released to offer it individually.
