Reach expected to be Game of the Year
2010 will be a great year for gaming. There's no doubt about that. And Microsoft are confident it'll be the best year in the Xbox 360's history, since being released in 2005.
In an interview with Austrian site pressetext (after multiple translation services), Xbox Austria marketing manager Thomas Kritsch said that "2010 will be the best year for the Xbox 360. Our portfolio includes exclusive titles Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Fable 3 and naturally expect Halo Reach, of which we, that it will be the biggest game of the year,"
Like he said, expect great things.
However, Blu-ray will not feature in the 360's 2010. Kritsch said that the platform giants "see no need, since it would only increase costs for the console and Blu-ray for games is not absolutely necessary."

David. You sir are truly an idiot. First off let me state that I own a PS3, Xbox 360, and a PC. My main console is my PC. Now that this is out of the way, lets begin to talk about your attack on Halo. Personally I do not really care for the series, but I will play them it has met that level of satisfaction. I must tell you though your math skills are absolutely atrocious seeing as the average score for Halo on metacritic is an 89, your obviously prized Final Fantasy (I will leave out XI since it does not follow the story, which will help out your argument tremendously as well) receives only a 75. So historically which will be the game of the year according to metacritic (btw I only included the PlayStation versions). For games that I have had to swap on the 360, I have maybe had to get up every 20 hours of game-time to change the disks. No biggie, ill bet you swap out your NBA 08' and Ratchet and Clank more frequently than that anyway. As far as 'exclusives' go Microsoft owns those games even when being 'ported' to pc so yes those are Microsoft exclusives. No matter how you want to twist and turn this they will never be on the PS3. Time to time I have thought of selling my PS3 since there is nothing that I cant get for it on the PC or 360 and no sony exclusives that I see worthwhile, plus I have a Blu-Ray drive for my PC. I see about three games that are coming out on the PS3 that are exclusives and grab my eye out and that makes it 5 games total including the past games that looked interesting. Heavy Rain, WKC, and the Last Guardian; from the past Demon's Souls, and Uncharted(1,2). Games I care for on the 360 ONLY exceed this list by far. Then we can move on to the games that you cant play on your PS3 or 360 on my PC.

LMAO, what a load of pathetic nonsense. This guy is either in denial or just doesn't have a clue about technology. No need for Blu - Ray? Yeah, FF XIII and Mass Effect 2 are good examples of that, right? Not only will FF XIII be spread over 3 discs but the audio and video will be compressed beyond recognition. 360 gets the gimped version of the game and they don't see a problem with that? Also, how many times do you have to swap discs in ME2 through the course of the game? 118? LOL......don't get comfy, 360 owners, you'll only be playing the game for 5 minutes before it's telling you to swap in disc 1000078934. Blu - Ray would solve all theese problems, of course, however Microsoft are too stubborn or too stupid to realise it. Also, Halo: Reach GOTY? LOL......now they're just talking out of their asses. The last 2 Halo games have been absolute bollocks, averaging something like an 84 on Metacritic, i doubt Reach will be a significant jump up from that. If they are truly delusional enough to believe Reach will be a bigger hit than Heavy Rain, WKC, GOW 3, GT 5 or The Last Guardian then i feel sorry for them, because they are in for 12 months of further embarassment. Oh and speaking of "Exclusives", ME 2 and SC: C have been confirmed for the PC so they are not exclusive, Fable 3 will most likely be ported to the PC as well sometime.

omg sanjisan that is your opinion why call others idiots just because you cant accept others opinions . I disagree with almost everything you have said apart from ms exclusive rights on a pc. cant see how any of my once owned xbox exclusive matched the ps3 but that probably just makes me an idiot in your eyes as its a differing view . you sir are arrogant
