Bungie has recently cleared up the rumors about Halo Reach being playable in 3D. According to Eurogamer reports had surfaced that said Bungie were showing the game in 3D at this weeks Gamescon.
Unsurprisingly though, Brian Jarrad the community leader at Bungie revealed how the supposed 3D demo of Halo Reach had nothing to do with either them or Microsoft. He also admitted the news had shocked the team, but ultimately they had no power over it.
"It's a Toshiba TV demo in the booth. It's actually for their TV hardware. It's got nothing to do with Xbox or the game itself."
"Apparently it's just an off-the-shelf TV set that supports 3D with glasses and they're running a Reach trailer for people. So there you go. "
He then went on to assure people Halo Reach does not have a 3D build, "I can assure you there is no 3D-enabled build. We don't have any specific support for anything like that in our game."
Halo Reach is released on the 14 September for the Xbox 360.
