Bach: '70% or 80%' of Worldwide publishers working on Natal games

President of Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft, Robbie Bach has said that around 70% or 80% of worldwide developers are working on Natal-based games.
Speaking to CBC News, Bach said "We have something like 70% or 80% of the publishers in the world already doing Natal-based games." Adding "Our first party studios are [also] very focused on this. We want to have a few titles from Microsoft that show the way and then we want the breadth and power of the ecosystem from our partners to bring lots of new ideas, new innovations, new concepts to the marketplace."
There's no doubt that Microsoft want Natal to become the future of gaming. But from response I've seen around the net for the past few months, it's not going to be easy for them to persuade everybody.

Yeah, Sony's motion controller looks like it will feel much more natural to use and it's going to release first. Microsoft aren't going to be taking much of the casual gaming crowd this gen, no matter how much they keep on hyping Natal. Nobody knows if Natal's even going to work, let alone work well.
