Plans for an Epic Mickey sequel are going ahead, and it seems the Disney icon is going multiplatform.

The newsletter announcement of Epic Mickey 2 was spotted by StitchKingdom, and despite the Disney news site’s post being taken down, Eurogamer managed to jot down the important stuff.

Single player and two-player split-screen will feature as players journey through “a world filled with Disney's forgotten characters.”

“In the two-player mode one person can play as Mickey wielding magic paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world and the second player can play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit - Walt Disney's first cartoon star - with the power to fly like a helicopter and use electricity to fight or friend enemies and solve challenges.”

According to the newsletter, Epic Mickey 2 will be hitting PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii towards the end of the year.
