Avatar is a massive, massive success, when we're talking about the movie. Unfortunately we can't say the same about the videogame adaptation; it lacked quality, and good sales figures. 

Whilst we thought that the titles developer/publisher might push any future comments aside, Ubisoft EMEA MD Alain Corre has given his views on the situation.

In an interview with GI.biz, Corre said that the release date of the film didn't help and that there wasn't any buzz for the title, because little had been shown of the movie.

Corre concluded by saying: "we were also hoping to create a better experience, I'd say, in terms of gaming - but it's not always easy when you have to follow the rules of a studio."
