Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 To Support Arc, Has Ryder Cup Mode

Wednesday, 10 Mar 2010 - 12:16PM

EA Games have revealed that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will support the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller.

The controller - currently known as Arc to many - will 'give gamers an authentic interactive swing experience' according to EA.

The publisher has also revealed that the game will feature The Ryder Cup. Where you'll choose from the U.S. or European squad and participate in the various competition formats – foursomes where players hit alternate shots, fourballs and singles which traditionally bring the biennial event to a close with players going head to head.

When playing The Ryder Cup mode offline, gamers will have the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches.

The Ryder Cup of course, takes place at the Celtic Manor in South Wales. The following screenshots show off the famous course (of which we live five minutes away from) as well as a video showing off Britain's Rory McIlroy, who will be sharing the cover of the game with Tiger Woods himself.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and iPhone.
