E310: Nintendo Unveil Zelda: Skyword Sword

At the E3 conference, Nintendo have just announced the new Zelda instalment is to be titled Zelda: Skyward Sword.

The game was shown off a little earlier with Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrating the title after a surprise appearance.

During demonstration there were in fact a few niggles, with Miyamoto having a little bit of trouble with the control's, despite it being his game, though Nintendo put that down to wireless devices in the audience.

Skyword Sword uses WiiMotionPlus for Link's sword and shield. One thing that has disappointed some over the web though, was the game's visuals; no more advanced that the Twilight Princess, really.

Hopefully we'll see some improvements before release, sometime in 2011.
