EA Sports Announces Street Mode For FIFA 11 Wii Version

EA Sports have today announced a new street football mode for the Wii version of FIFA 11, said to "compliment traditional matches".

So, let's think back to the original  FIFA Street.

The mode see's gamer's compete in 5 versus 5 street matches with the world’s elite players, as well as utilising the new attacker vs. defender trick system. Also, the new button-based shooting mechanic brings the controller back with new shot types and animations, including the ability to blast, finesse, chip or tap it past the keeper and into the back of the net.

Venues available to play in stretch from Brazil to London to France, with a soundtrack "that brings the culture of the area to life".

FIFA 11 Wii launches October 1 in Europe and Asia and October 4 in North America. Other console versions will be available.
