In its latest financial statement, publisher has announced that the release of Driver: San Fancisco has been pushed into 2011.

The game was announced ahead of E3 last month as the reboot of the Driver franchise, seeing the return of John Tanner to consoles. Developer Ubisoft Reflections yesterday revealed that they are planning downloadable, additional content.

In the financial statement, Ubisoft note that the delay is mainly due to a "competitive market at Christmas" and will instead release next year, rather than the original November 2010 scheduled date.

Yeah, we'd be a little scared of titles such as Halo: Reach and Gran Turismo 5 as well.
