Sega: All-Stars Racing Better Than Mario Kart

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing isn't the most anticipated title of all time, but producer Omar Woodley believes the title offers a better experience than the world-renowned Mario Kart.

The game was released in the States today, and whilst us Europeans have to wait a few more days, Woodley stated in an interview with Sega Nerds: 

"Our initial goal was to be better than Mario Kart and capitalize on the next gen consoles. We wanted more fun, content, characters, tracks, and a massive, online multiplayer component. I think we achieved those goals. I really think the sheer amount of content in SSASR outweighs Mario Kart. People are definitely going to get their money’s worth on this title."

The game will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PC and Mobile, and features 22 legendary videogame characters.
