Around 321,000 PlayStation Vita units were sold in its first two days at retail in Japan, according to Famitsu.
When Vita’s debut sales figures are compared to those of the PSP, success is shown. It’s handheld predecessor managed to shift 166,000 during the same period of time following its 2004 launch in Japan.
That means Vita has experienced almost double the success. Bravo Sony.
So that’s the Japanese launch over and done with. We now look forward to February 22, 2012, when the portable powerhouse launches across North America and Europe.
Thanks, GamesRadar.
