Netflix for Vita ready for handheld’s US launch

Sony has today confirmed a Netflix app will be available for PlayStation Vita on the day of the handheld’s launch in the United States.
At its CES 2012 conference in Las Vegas, the firm also revealed Vita has sold half a million units since its December 17, 2011 launch in Japan. Altogether, 6.5 million PlayStation devices are estimated to have been sold over the holiday period – 3.9 million PS3’s, 1.6 million PSP’s.
Vita has already impressed many when it comes to video games. Add movie and TV streaming into the mix, and it seems to get a whole lot better.
