Splinter Cell Could Appear On PS3 One Day - Ubisoft

Splinter Cell Conviction creative director Max Beland has admitted that we could see the series on the PlayStation 3 in the future.
The next instalment in the critically acclaimed series is set to release next month for Xbox 360 and PC, due an exclusivity deal between Microsoft and Ubisoft themselves.
However, when Beland was asked about the series heading to the Sony console by EDGE, his reply was simple:
“I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I’m not involved in the business deals. I joined Splinter Cell after the exclusivity deal with Microsoft had already been signed, but there’s no reason why Splinter Cell couldn’t be on the PS3. Conviction? No because of the exclusivity deal. I know people keep talking about maybe, maybe not, [but] at Ubisoft Montreal I haven’t seen anyone working on PS3 for Conviction."
In the past we would have said there was no doubt you'll see Sam Fisher (or any other character) on a PlayStation console, but Microsoft have put their money where their mouths are recently and sealed the deal to keep the franchise a console exclusive for the 360.
