Sony Santa Monica: 'The Possibilities Are Endless' From Now On

God of War III is the final stage of Kratos' story, and for months now Sony Santa Monica have stated that it doesn't mean the end of the franchise. So what's next? They're not sure, but are definitely excited about what lies ahead.

The developer says that now their engine is out and about, and the game almost here, the possibilities are endless from here onwards.

"We're pretty excited and curious, because now we have the first game with our new engine on the market." said Adam Puhl, Lead Combat Designer for the blockbuster title in an interview with VideoGamesZone. 

"God of War 3 is almost our starting point in terms of PS3. From here the possibilities are endless. Let's see how God of War 3 runs."

So exciting times for PlayStation gamers in the future we'd say. A spin-off of the franchise is expected, featuring the brother of Kratos.
