Rumor: Modern Warfare 2 Delayed till December

Part of our trusted team has just discovered a picture on the Codnation forums?that could indicate that Modern Warfare 2 is delayed. The picture indicates someone having a conversation with Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling (A.K.A. FOURZEROTWO). In the conversation, 'FOURZEROTWO' says;

"...i've been told the team is struggling to meet the deadline... worst case scenario is the game being delayed till early December"

Take this extremely lightly as it could just be a fake, someone could just be taking the role of Robert Bowling. This could easily have been photoshopped by someone who want to rip the gaming industry apart. We're certainly hoping this is just a fake as many people we know are already frustrated at waiting another month for this year's most anticipated game. Say you're prayers tonight for a November 10 release. We have contacted Activision and Infinity Ward over the matter and will bring you more updates as we get them.

UPDATE

The rumor has been denied by Robert Bowling on his official twitter page with a post saying;

"RUMOR SMASH. Rest your fears, this "convo" with me is fake. Never happened, isn't true, Fake convo is fake."

So there you go folks, no need to worry, Modern Warfare 2 is still looking ready for November 10, 2009.
