Episodes From Liberty City Coming To PS3

Update: Rockstar have since officially announced the game will arrive on PlayStation 3 and PC.

Yesterday our friends over at PlayStation Lifestyle reported that SimplyGames.com had a listing which stated the supposed Xbox 360 title Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City would be coming to the PlayStation 3.

Well today, SimplyGames have told Connected Consoles that the additional content for the epic title will be coming to the PS3. They told us;

"We can confirm that the details on our website are correct and that this title will be released on the Playstation 3 in the near future. We have had to remove this title from sale for a short period. As soon as this title is available to pre-order we will email you with all the details so you can get your order placed as soon as possible."

The game has been listed many, many times for PS3 in the past six months, but they turned out to be mistakes. But thankfully, SimplyGames have given PS3 gamers some extra 2010 delight, though we still await official word from Rockstar.

LOL. Bioshock.......Lost Planet........Star Ocean: The Last Hope and now GTA? Microsoft can't keep an exclusive to save themselves. So they basically paid out $50 million for 12 month exclusivity? Oh dear.......... Turns out that Toys R' Us "Mistake" wasn't a mistake at all, just an early leak. I guess this confirms the rumour that Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3 as well, since the PS3 version was also listed on EA's own Russian website. As if 2010 wasn't going badly enough for Microsoft already........
