In its Second Quarter CY 2010 Financial Results released today, Activision announced its decision to delay True Crime: Hong Kong into 2011.

The latest iteration in the franchise, currently in development at ModNation Racers creators United Front Games, was noted to have been delayed "in order to give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game."

So we won't be seeing Detective Shen for a while, but Activision reiterated their commitment to release titles from top franchise including Call of Duty: Black Ops - which is seeing a fair load of attention - and GoldenEye 007.
