Modern Warfare 2 getting freeze complaints

Update - The game is now getting freeze complaints on the Xbox 360 (TeamXbox forums).
After it was reported yesterday that the God of War Collection was receiving complaints that the game was freezing, new complaints are rising about Modern Warfare 2 freezing.
Folks over on the PlayStation Forums are claiming that Modern Warfare 2 is freezing at the end of every online multiplayer match. One gamer claims that his PS3 got the Yellow Light of Death whilst playing the game.
It is looking as if it's the original 'chunky' PS3 model which is causing problems.

Mine freezes too after every multiplayer online game. 60GB chunky model. I've been praising this console as the best, and now MW2 ruins everything. It even happend on a BD-film making me wonder if the lens is damaged when MW2 freezing. I have never had any freezing problems before MW2.

Yep, my newly repaired 60 GB PS3 is now freezing regularly and shutting down mid game multiple times, with YLOD like symptoms. Awesome.

Happened alot on my 360, when the disc wasn't broke :(

This was happening to me on the ps3. I fixed it by going into multiplayer split screen hit X to join then hit Square to change or Delete profiles and I deleted the profiles that were created by my friends who were over playing with me. Just make sure you don't delete your main profile
