Mafia II Is 15 Hours Long, 360 Version Ships On One Disc

2K Games have revealed that the Mafia II experience will last for fifteen hours, also adding that the Xbox 360 version of the game will ship on just one disc.

The game is currently being demoed at the Game Developers Conference across the pond in San Francisco, and is looking pretty damn spectacular.

"It's one disc." said 2K senior producer Denby Grace in an interview with Joystiq. "The experience is fifteen hours, so it's not too bad. But the scope is pretty huge, the script's like 600 pages; 160,000 words; 300 speaking characters. It's huge, but it fits on a disc."

After multiple delays, Mafia II releases for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year. The delay time was used to polish the game, and it looks to have paid off.

I wouldn't say that's pathetic at all. Not everyone has hours upon hours in a day to play games. A 15 hour game will probably last me three weeks minimum!

15 hours is kinda pathetic when you consider GTA: IV lasted for 90 hours and that's not including the DLC. Hopefully there'll at least be a good number of side missions to add an extra couple of hours of play time after you finish the main story.
