L.A. Noire Script Is Up To 22,000 Pages Long - Team Bondi

L.A. Noire developer Team Bondi have revealed that the script for the up and coming multiplatform title is up to 22,000 pages.

The studios co-founder, Brendan McNamara spoke in the April 2010 issue of EDGE Magazine, where the detective thriller game is the front page feature.

"The script's up to 22,000 pages," he stated. "That's two full years of a TV series and probably 12 feature films. It goes a lot of places!"

22,000 pages is a lot, for any game or other media out there. Whether this was a misprint in the magazine we don't know, but with all the effort put into EDGE, we doubt it is.

L.A. Noire will be published by Rockstar Games, releasing for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later on this year. We're sure we'll see the first gameplay footage at the E3 conference in June, if not before.

The April 2010 (213) issue of EDGE magazine is now available.

22,000 pages? That's crazy big. The cutscenes must last for like 80 hours, then. I'm definetly looking forward to this game but i hope the detail they're putting into the script doesn't take anything away from the actual gameplay.
