Heavy Rain Reaches Impressive Sales Mark

David Cage, Heavy Rains creator has today revealed that the game has reached 1.5 million sales worldwide, smashing the expected sale rate by Sony. He has also said how he predicts the game will hit the 2 million mark by the end of the year.
Unsurprisingly Cage was also very keen to point out how the average review score taken from a survey of 500 reviews was over 90%, showing how much of a success Sony's exclusive has been.
However, the thing that really makes this figure a success is how the games price has not lowered below the RRP since launch, meaning Heavy Rain has sold 1.5 million unites at full price, not once being picked out of the bargain bin.
We also fully expect the game to reach the 2 million mark by the end of the year, especially because of the addition of the Move controller brining a new experience to Heavy Rain.
