Demon's Souls in the UK? Still 'no plans' says Sony

Demons Souls has been around for a while now. It was released in Japan in February 2009, and was later released across the pond back in October, and was an instant hit with critics and the gaming community. Since then there have been multiple rumours of the game heading to the UK and Europe in general. But unfortunately, I can only bring you bad news about a potential UK release of the game.
Sony have today told us that they still have “no plans” to release Demons Souls in the UK. Many British gamers have been getting the game in through import, as all PS3 games are region free. Personally I’ve only played a small bit of the game, but what I did play was highly enjoyable. We may have to wait for another well known developer to swoop in and bring the game to the British shores.
We’re currently working to see if there’s any news on a European release for the game, but for now, UK gamers need to look to import.

@David M Hey, bro. Did you know that video games don't always release in every region? Japan gets a TON of games that NA or EU don't get, for instance. Demon's Souls is one game that NA and Japan get that EU don't. OH WAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAH MY LIFE SUUUUUCKS. Grow the **** up and stop over reacting. It's a god damn video game and you have means to obtain it you crybaby bitch.

@ Z3cc - if importing is no hassle at all then why should Sony bother releasing ANYTHING in Europe? Why bother shipping Final Fantasy XIII, God Of War 3 and Gran Turismo 5 to Europe when they could just sit back and let us figure out how to get them? Heck, why stop there? Why don't they deny releasing the PS4 console in Europe and see how many people have the patience to import then?

That is complete bullcrap! European gamers have always been loyal to Sony, we supported them from the early days of the Playstation and even this gen when a large portion of American's turned their backs on Sony in favour of the 360 it was still the European gamers who stood behind them 100% and THIS is their way of thanking us??? First they denied us a release of Afrika and now they're saying we're not getting Demon's Souls either??? I could handle the high price tag on the PS3......i can handle the fact that it's taken 3 to 4 years for Sony to get some of their biggest exclusive franchises out, i can handle the fact that we have to wait longer than all other territories for some of the biggest releases (GOW Collection) but now they're refusing to sell us games at all? Who the hell is in charge of European customer relations at Sony? Whoever it is.....they're doing one hell of a lousy job! I was really looking forward to this game as well.

@ Wutwutbut - i feel sorry for you, you obviously had a prostitute for a mother who forced you to do things you didn't always want to, perhaps things you weren't even old enough to fully understand. This has caused psychological trauma that has forced you to just go along with whatever anyone tells you to do. If someone tells you the sky is red, you would probably just smile and nod to avoid confrontation. Maybe you should stop being such a little pussy and actually stick up for yourself once in awhile. Sony not releasing this game to Europe is a slap in the face to anyone that purchased a PS3. This is not one of those games that flies under the radar you freaking moron, Demon's Souls has recieved outstanding praise from critics and is a game that nobody should miss out on. I suppose if Sony said they weren't releasing Gran Turismo 5 or God Of War 3 in Europe either you still wouldn't complain? Good god man, grow a pair already!
