Cross Game Chat confirmed for PSN

After much speculation on whether PSN users would see it arrive, it has today been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 will get cross game chat in the next Firmware update. A Naughty Dog developer confirmed this on the official PlayStation forums saying;

"Not to mention that the next PS3 firmware update is going to allow cross game chat. So if players use that instead of in game communication then they would also be able to communicate enemies positions."

We know that many of you will benefit from this update. We'll bring you any news on when the next update will arrive for PlayStation 3 users.
