Brink: Release Date Outed Prematurely?

This won't be the first time we've said this, but we were lucky to be some of the first people to see Splash Damage's Brink last year. But since then, we haven't heard much.

Now though, it's looking like a release date for the title - and one of our most anticipated of the year - has been spilt online.

The games publishers, Bethesda Software have teamed up with US retailer GameStop for a new sweepstakes competition, giving gamers the opportunity to win TV's, Surround sound and the choice of a PS3 or Xbox 360. But if you haven't already been taken in by the prizes on offer, you may notice that underneath the Brink packshots a date stating 'Available 9.7.2010' - September 7 (when we're talking American terms).

We'll nudge Bethesda for comment in the morning.
