Bad Company Day 1 Map Pack Revealed, Trailer Released

Thursday, 25 Feb 2010 - 20:14PM

We think its safe to say that with the major success of the games demo, the majority of FPS fans are looking forward to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. And there's even more good news.

Earlier this month, we brought you the news that the game has an in-game store, which will offer 'some really cool stuff' according senior producer Patrick Bach. That content has today been revealed as two additional maps for the games multiplayer mode.

The first map, Nelson Bay, takes you into a dense snow-covered forest which restricts vehicle use. So everybody is on foot. The second, Laguna Alta is a challenging woodland environment where effective use of ATV and infantry-fighting-vehicles will be the key to military supremacy.

The map pack will be free to all those that buy the game new, or who have purchased the game second hand with the code still with it. Anyone else will have to purchase the additional content from the in-game store for $15. You can watch the trailer for the day one content below;
