Atari Announces Test Drive Unlimited 2

Atari have today officially announced that Test Drive Unlimited 2 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

We knew the game was on the way, and so did you, after we brought you the news that the game had been seen on the CV of a former level designer.

Unlimited 2 is the sequel to the mouth-watering, critically acclaimed Test Drive Unlimited, which originally released for Xbox 360 back in 2006. It later released for PS2, PSP and PC in 2007.

According to Atari, the game expands on the traditional racing experience providing gamers with the M.O.O.R. system (Massively Open Online Racing), immersing drivers in a persistent online environment and revolutionizing multiplayer racing communities as players compete, team up, and share their achievements and creations online.

Blending the open world experience with realistic vehicles and performance dynamics and for the first time, Test Drive Unlimited 2 features vehicle damage, weather effects, day and night cycles, and a brand new island to explore.
