Surprise surprise: we have some more PlayStation classics to talk about, as a product titled the Splinter Cell Trilogy has been listed on Amazon.fr, marked for a PS3 release.

With all the talk of a potential ICO collection, we never really expected the existence of a collection remake of the legendary Tom Clancy series. Our best guess though, if legit, is that it would consist of HD remakes of the original Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, all of which were released on the PlayStation 2.

Expect more talk of this over the next few weeks, or until an official announcement is released by either Sony or Ubisoft. One thing we would note though, is that gamescom isn't far away.
