The title of Brendan McNamara’s next video game has emerged in a new report.

Financial Review took a trip Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive, the studio of film maker George Miller, where it discovered that the Mad Max creator has acquired the rights to McNamara’s next project, Whore of the Orient.

Details on the game weren’t revealed, but as pointed out by VG247, the phrase “Whore of the Orient or Paris of the East” refers to the Chinese city of Shanghai.

McNamara has mostly been off the development radar since the release of detective thriller L.A. Noire in May this year, which was followed by staff at Team Bondi making negative comments regarding working hours and conditions. He was accused of mismanagement by many.

Let’s hope this one goes a little more smoothly.
